It was 1978 when this shirt was purchased. The Beatles had been broken up for quite sometime and they certainly didn't look like the clean cut lads that the shirt depicts but true Beatles fans didn't care, looking past all that, and wanting to keep the spirit of the band alive for as long a possible, it was purchased without hesitation at a Grocery Store in Northern Virginia by the world biggest Beatles fan, my Mother.
