Fantastic medieval/Renaissance style gown from the 70s. Ashes of rose colored cotton gauze material has complimentary calico quilt inserts on either side of the bodice which end just above the oversized ruffle along the bottom. Ivory lace trims around inserts, end of sleeves, at the neck and on each shoulder. Slender golden rope extending from the bodice to the top of the sweetheart neckline sinches up the front like a corset. The sleeves are smocked from the top to about the elbow then flare out to angel sleeves which are 20" wide. Zips up the back. Maker label cut out.
Very good condition - tops of shoulders have a little 'pokey shoulder' due to hanging on a hanger for years - is not as big of an issue when being worn. Could spring back if taken care of.
Measures: 32"-34" bust, 26" waist, 40" hips, 56" length.
